Performing Arts Programs for Middle and High School Students

Acting Track

Meet on Monday or Wednesday mornings from 9:00-11:00 for 2 one-hour sessions in acting. Focus on technique, voice for the actor, and Shakespeare for one hour and contemporary theatre and scene work for the second hour. Students will be learning from working professionals. Class culminates in a showcase in which all performers will get the chance to show what they have learned throughout the workshop.

Dates:

Mondays: August 19-November 13(No class on September 30.) Showcase of skills on the final class

OR

Wednesdays: August 21-November 15(No class on October 2.) Showcase of skills on the final class

Tuition: $475/performer (one time $40 registration fee. 10% discount for siblings)

Musical Theatre Track

Meet on Monday or Wednesday afternoons from 12:00-2:00 for 2 one-hour sessions in musical theatre. Focus on dance for the first hour, working on ballet, tap, and jazz, as well as the learning of 2 production numbers. For the second hour concentrate on audition techniques, song selection, and scene work. The workshop will culminate in a musical theatre showcase performance.
